...soo fun.

it has been "years" since i posted. *lafs*

well...what's up with mah life?...hmm...lemme think. a lot of things happened for the past few months! a lot, a lot, a lot.

but i guess i'm gonna let you in on the most recent and the, so far, the greatest times of mah 2006.

first, i passed chemistry! i was expecting an F actually because my quizzes were super low! so i was super relieved when i saw my midterm grade. yipee! congratulate me! *lol* but i still have to work on my grade. i got a C for midterms when my goal was a B. so i have to double the effort... i know, it's tiring but heck...i've got to prove some things to myself and to my family. woi. serious. really, that one's true.

so that's good news. bad news is... (you see, once you say a good news, there's always something bad...tsktsktsk) ...i got a D on statistics. crap. crap. crap. grrr. i don't get it. we only had two quizzes before midterms. i passed the first one. i got a good grade on that first quiz. i got a well, D on the second. but hey...huhu. hai. i just hate math to death. when will i ever escape math?! shocks. kaya nga ako nag-IS kasi akala ko wala na akong math na pagdadaanan kundi algebra lang. pero dumating si statistics! hai. i did not invite statistics. sino nag-invite kay statistics? Sino?!! *lol* okay. i can't let math get my sanity away from me...haha! no. way.

what else...?

o yeah. i participated in the sportsfest of our muslim org at school, siraj! weeehee! congratulate me! all of my high school friends were like "wow! hanna! athlete na ka!". *lol* i'm on the redhot team.waah! i'm so proud of myself that week. imagine, it's the first time i really super duper participated in the sportsfest. for my whole life, i was just like one of the cheerers, the organizer and all that stuff. i was basically just on the sideline, putting on the pressure. and well...i entered college...and this is what i got! i'm so happy.

you know that feeling when you finally jump into that one experience you never thought you'd get into? well...it's so overwhelming. i played badminton and volleyball. i don't play volleyball before but i enjoyed the game, really! champion pa kami! thanks, coach shor! she was the one who kept us going, really! we never really thought we'd win, but Alhamdulillah, we did. *grins* plus a number of my serves were a success, i hated the flunked ones...pero okay na rin. i enjoyed naman. *smiles*

the amazing race was also super great. we had ours in malasag. it's something like an eco-village on top of a hill. it was raining hard, super! so we were practically soaking wet all throughout the day but we all managed to complete the quest. weeh! congratulations to the red team! i love my team mates! they were so great. kami 'yong pinaka-konti pero pinaka-masaya ... at pinaka-pasaway na team! *grins* i really had a great time. it's my first sportsfest sa siraj. and InshaAllah, i'll be on the upcoming sportsfests too with the same team mates?... aynanaw. mia-miss akun sukano badun.

the sportsfest was like, last week...this week...uhm...had been busy with exams plus a recollection last wednesday. ang saya ko nong wednesday. super. i got a chance to know more about my faith and mingle with my muslim friends. ang sarap ng feeling when you're with people who share your faith. ang saya talaga.

i love the muslim community here in xavier. masaya sila kasama. before, i used to be with mostly christian friends. now...you know what i realized...Allah is so great. i wasn't even supposed to go to Xavier for my college but it was really on the last minute that i decided i'm going to go to Xavier. ang ganda. parang tinawag niya talaga ako...char! hindi nga...i'm serious. ang galing talaga ng plano niya sa akin.

first sem: i met my cousin comz, a number of relatives whom i never even knew existed!, became part of siraj. And then second semester came: i enrolled in MRS (muslim religious studies), got to spend more time with my muslim friends, attended Taleems (a group discussion about islam), started appreciating my faith, felt the importance of prayer, started wearing the "kumbong" or veil, and found myself deeply happy with my faith. i'm on my way...i've never felt so happier in my whole life.

seryoso 'yon. hehe. maniwala kayo. i'm just so happy. i wanna share it to the world. *smiles*
